BRP Australia is the corporate principal of a stable of lifestyle brands which are iconic in the powersports and marine industries. Their brands include Sea-Doo, Can-Am, Evinrude, Rotax, and Ski-Doo. BRP dealers sell a wide variety of on-road, off-road, marine, and adventure vehicles under these brand banners.
BRP Australia engaged Triple 888 to develop a turnkey website solution which could be used for new and existing dealers to ensure a unified online brand presence. BRP had found that existing dealer websites often had incorrect or outdated information. Consumers of these products generally conduct online research before buying in person and this may have been with an agency who could provide ongoing content management to ensure website content is always up-to-date and accurate.

This master site was developed first, which then allowed individual dealer sites to be built with a two week turnaround and at an affordable price point

The websites are built to allow dealer access for publishing localised content. This might include upcoming sales, dealer promotions, and demo or event days.

Distributed by SCANPAN in the USA, GLOBAL KNIVES is a premium knife brand which appeals to professional chefs and at-home gourmet cooks. These hand-crafted knives from Japan are manufactured to extremely high standards and have been popular for more than 30 years.
SCANPAN USA had recently become a distributor for GLOBAL Knives and wanted to partner with an agency who was familiar with their brand and understood the USA market. The client had a short project timeframe, requiring completion within six months.
This project was unique because the finished site could not be marketed via search engine marketing (SEM) or other paid marketing due to a conflict of interest with GLOBAL Knives retailers.
However, the client wanted to increase their customer base and develop a revenue stream from the site.
The site would need to be built on a robust platform and include specific functionality for user experience. E.g. Knife selector. The client also needed infrastructure on the site to build a customer subscriber database.
Triple 888 conducted a comprehensive competitor and market research to develop an appropriate website and digital marketing strategy considering marketing constraints. This included on-the-ground research in the USA.
The new e-commerce site was built using Magento, an industry leading platform that is robust and secure and allows for the client’s required functionality.
Ongoing support is provided for the digital marketing strategy and Triple 888 acts as an extension of the client’s digital marketing team for seamless execution of the marketing plan.
Triple 888 was able to leverage off their decade-long relationship with SCANPAN and their experience with GLOBAL KNIVES in the Australian market.
Online sales were non-existent prior to building this new site. They now represent an additional source of revenue alongside distribution sales to retailers. Triple 888 continues to maintain this site for the client, ensuring it stays up-to-date and relevant in the marketplace.

Daimler Truck and Bus Australia is a corporate group with a national dealer network supplying the best international truck brands. These brands include Mercedes Benz, Freightliner, and Fuso.
As The Daimler Group which relies on working with a dealer network, there was a need to develop a central hub for corporate and dealer network activities, as well as a central point to house all corporate and marketing assets. It was also necessary to have a system that system that allowed for communication between corporate and the dealer network to improve efficiencies and customer service.

Introducing DAIMLER Adsmart, a custom-built system using Adobe ColdFusion platform. This web-based system is user friendly and has been built with the capability to expand with corporate growth. The ColdFusion platform was used because the client required a robust system where security was paramount.
Applications have also been developed within the tool to assist Daimler corporate and their dealer network complete tasks such as quoting and marketing online specs.
The development and implementation of this custom-built system has resulted in several significant benefits for the Daimler group.
The system continues to evolve with Triple 888 playing a pivotal role in development and to deliver changes and updates.

Melbourne Sea-Doo is a long-standing personal watercraft dealership in Victoria. They sell and maintain Sea-Doo, Can-Am, and Spyder brands and pride themselves on great after sales service.
Leading up their 22nd birthday, Melbourne Sea-Doo wanted to run a birthday competition to increase dealership awareness and vehicle sales. It was to be a 14-day campaign concluding with a weekend of birthday celebrations at the client’s store. The client’s past campaign experience was limited to radio advertising.
The client wanted the campaign to be fun and engaging with a strong focus on driving sales. They set a target of 100 vehicles to be sold during the campaign period. The campaign would also encompass several competitions including a major prize giveaway of a Sea-Doo Spark. the campaign period.

The Melbourne Sea-Doo team engaged Triple 888 to provide expertise around a digital and social media strategy for the birthday campaign. The project would need to be developed in a way that was straightforward and easy to manage as the client had limited staffing resources and had no previous experience with social and digital advertising campaigns.

SCANPAN is a well-known global brand that manufactures innovative and functional high quality cookware. Their products can be found in households and professional kitchens.
SCANPAN are introducing Brund, a new entry-level cookware brand targeted at millennials, new home owners, and young professionals. The new range is still Danish-designed and of high quality but will be priced to meet the target market. Although the client was keen to leverage off the SCANPAN name, Brund required its own marketing, and packaging. The style guide needed to include print and digital options for their store and online presence. The branding had to be developed in a way that makes it stand out in a very competitive retail environment.

Triple 888 conducted comprehensive research on the client’s target market and competitors to develop a solution that differentiates Brund in the crowded cookware market. A comprehensive brand identity and marketing strategy guide was developed, showing the client their options for instore and online marketing options which are cost effective and suitable for growing the brand.
The communication style guide covered all aspects of the client’s communication needs including brand guidelines, print and digital layout examples, with further recommendations for advertising options to market the brand. Layouts were provided for both general product information and marketing collateral.
The resulting branding identity has given SCANPAN the confidence to market their new Brund brand globally. It is now sold in the US, South America, and parts of Asia and Europe.
